Lassana Angel third of sixteen at 33/1
DATE POSTED: 3rd June 2018We are please to report that Lassana Angel, our 4YO filly with Tommy Gretton in the Midlands finished third at Chepstow on Saturday evening. Over 20 shareholders attended the meeting and were treated to a great run from the mare who came with a late run to almost snatch second on the line.
This youngster has only raced a handful of times on the turf, but had already shown very decent form in handicaps last season. She had been to Wolverhampton a couple of times to blow away the cobwebs, but now trainer Tom Grettion is looking for another 0-65 rated mile and a half race for her.
The four-year-old was in rear for most of the race before making eye-catching progress over two out and under a good ride from Finley Marsh she came homwe with a wet sail - another few strides and she would have won.
