Christmas Night almost provided the perfect start to his 3YO campaign at Wolverhampton yesterday evening. The gelding was competing over seven furlongs for the first time ever and was just caught on the line in the last stride.
The gelding got a great ride from Andrew Mullen who managed to get a super position on the rail soon after the start, and 'Compton' as he's known in the yard travelled well. He took up the running in the final furlong and looked like he would hold ion without a problem, only to be caught in the shadow of the winning post. However, he has come out of the race fit and well and it looks more than likely that he will be winning races before long.
Shares in Christmas Night are still available, although we will almost definitely sell out in the next few days following a run like that!
