Ready Freddie Go wins for the second time this summer

'Freddie' cruises to a big win at Hamilton

Ready Freddie Go

Ready Freddie Go has now managed to bag two Class 3 sprint handicaps this season. He travelled to Hamilton Park this week to contest a £18k 0-90 rated handicap and off top weight managed to put all his rivals to the sword.

Ollie Pears was delighted with the result, saying, 'We have a very talented horse on our hands and he's still improving.' Jockey Harry Russell only gave the gelding a couple of minor flicks and the 4YO went about his business. Harry was able to allow the gelding to lengthen and he recorded a one and a quarter length success with apparent ease.

Shares in this lovely gelding are now SOLD OUT for his 2022 season. Freddie is now likely to head into even deeper territory, as the handicapper will no doubt have his say.

You can watch the replay of the race below - look out for the Ownaracehorse blue and yellow colours in the front rank! Harry Russell rides.
