Racing is set to come back and we're ready for action!

With racing all set to be starting again on June 1st 2020, Ownaracehorse is ready to race! The BHA are intimating that they expect to get the go-ahead for a resumption of racing on June 1st, with their Chief Regulatory Officer stating he is 'Incredibly confident'.

We have twelve flat horses in training this season and all bar two (who are 2YO's wanting 7f) are expected to get entries in June. We're chomping at the bit to get back in action and so are our horses and trainers. We have also made some dramatic changes to our service in order to ensure we give our shareholders value for money.

MORE REPORTS, OWNERS BADGES & SOCIALLY DISTANCED VISITS

Ownaracehorse has always led the way with weekly videos, blogs, audio reports, photos and trainer interviews prior to all races, now we are posting even more updates and have socially distanced visits to the yard planned for autumn. As with all walks of life, racing is going to be different, but we are bending with the requirements to ensure we still provide the very best of ownership experiences.

EXTENDED SEASONS
We have already extended the seasons of every one of our flat horses, at our own cost, to end on December 31st. This effectively means anyone joining in the fun of owning a racehorse will enjoy any runs right up to New Year, and meaning the loss of the first two months of the season is negated. This does not mean that every horse will race through November and December, some of ther youngsters may have had enough by November, but for those horses that do, your ownership will last right through to the end of the year.

REPORTING
We have already incorporated regular video reports into what we are providing shareholders on a regular basis, and once we start racing again wherever possible we will be posting video updates from our trainers prior to every horse running. Where this isn't possible, we'll be posting our normal night before roundup.

We've also been speaking with our trainers about the possibility of getting reports directly from the track after races. It may well be a case of seeing how things develop, but we are expecting to provide updates within a hour or so of every run from our horses this season.

OWNERS BADGES
As soon as owners are allowed into tracks (which will be before the public), we will be allocating badges to our shareholders. We obviously have to adhere to each racecourses rules, but whatever we are given will go to our shareholders, even if it means our syndicate managers don't attend so we can get more people racing.

YARD VISITS
We are going to be announcing an extremely novel method of allowing shareholders to visit their racehorses from September onwards. This will allow you to meet both your trainer and racehorse in safe, socially distanced surroundings. We already have agreement from ALL our trainers, and hope to have our method approved by the BHA in due course.
