It's Redcar then York for the filly
Trainer Ollie Pears has given our breeze-up buy Smashing Lass the green light to start her racing career in the next ten days.Smashing Lass was bought from the Doncaster Breeze-ups only a month ago and now she will be seen racing at Redcar on May 21st. The filly worked this week at home against a number of other 2YO's and was given the thumbs up by her trainer to get on with racing.
This filly by Sir Prancealot cost GBP 10,000 and has two winning siblings. Ollie has been very happy with her home work and we are really looking forward to seeing how she gets on. She will head to Redcar on the 21st as a race to teach her plenty and bring her on, but the plan is to go for the Acomb Stakes, a £15,000 race at York on June 15th as her follow-up run. Both races are over six furlongs.
We still have some small shares left in the filly, and we have a good deal on 4% and also 10% outright private service shares as well.
